In a rectangle, the longer side is referred to as the "length," while the shorter side is called the "width." These terms help distinguish the dimensions of the rectangle, with length typically representing the side that is longer. When discussing the area or perimeter, these dimensions are essential for calculations.
The height of a rectangle is one of it's dimensions, the other is it's base.(There are other terms for these dimensions but as you can turn a rectangle any way you want and not change any of it's properties it really doesn't matter what you call the directions just don't mix them up during a calculation!)
A rectangle has four sides, while a rectangular prism has six faces. The four sides of a rectangle consist of two pairs of opposite sides, while the six faces of a rectangular prism include three pairs of opposite rectangles. Thus, in terms of faces, a rectangular prism has more dimensions than a rectangle.
Terms are in expressions that separate by plus or minus signs. The answer is TERMS.
To find the dimensions of a rectangle with the largest perimeter using 100 feet of fencing, we can express the perimeter ( P ) of a rectangle in terms of its length ( l ) and width ( w ) as ( P = 2l + 2w ). Since the total amount of fencing is 100 feet, we set up the inequality ( 2l + 2w \leq 100 ). Simplifying this gives ( l + w \leq 50 ). The dimensions that maximize the area (which is a related concept) would be when ( l = w = 25 ) feet, creating a square shape.

The rectangle has four of them, and any parallelogram that has one of them is a rectangle.
Plus and Minus are mathematical terms in the English language. The word plus is used for addition and minus is for subtraction these terms can also be used in every day life.
I think the dimensions of the rectangle are 89.5 cm by 90.5 cm but I'm not sure. but that's what i get because if you split the rectangle in to two triangles and you label the hypotenuse 5 cm. and the legs x and (x + 1) you con make the equation: x+(x+1)=180 Then you combine your like terms and you get 2x+1=180. Then you subtract 1 from 180 and get 179. so now you have 2x=179 divide by two and you get x=89.5 and the other side which is 1 cm. longer is 90.5 cm. I don't know if I'm right but i think i am.

I assume lbh in the question means length, base (or width) and height. Those three dimensions multiplied together calculate the volume, not the area, of the figure for cubic dimension. The area is calculated by multiplying the length and the width for squared dimension. In simpler terms; Area of rectangle is lw; Volume is lwh.
The dimensions of the sink cabinet are its measurements in terms of width, height, and depth.
A vertice is where 2 lines meet and create, in layman's terms, a 'corner.' On a rectangle, there are 4.
