Look at the units! Minutes and miles per hour. Hours and minutes are both time but they are not the same.
1hour = 60minutes. We have 20 minutes.
20/60 = 1/3
So we ran for 1/3 of an hour at 5mph.
If we ran 2hours at 5 miles per hour (MPH), it's probably more obvious you ran for 10miles. That's 2 x 5. Which is Hours x MPH.
So what about our calculation? Hours x MPH = 1/3 x 5 = 1.6667 miles.

240 miles
If you ran 10 miles in 30 minutes, you averaged 20 miles per hour. You covered the 10 miles in half an hour, so double the time and the distance, and you'll get 20 miles in 1 hour, or a 20 mph average.

about 10 miles. yep. that's it. the big 1-O
20 minutes = 20/60 hours = 1/3 hours 13 divided by 1/3 = 39 mph (wow!)
aircraft (550 mph) | 17 hours 20 minutes
1.7 miles in 20 minutes equates to 5.1 mph
depends on what your rate/speed is... for instance, if you walk at an average pace (i.e. 3mph) it would take you 140 minutes (2 hours and 20 minutes). If you ran at an average pace of 5.5 mph, it would take you 76.4 minutes (roughly 1hr 16 minutes)
