Why are you asking in Math, Chi-Square is Biology even though all of Chi-Square is math related? Either way, an answer would be for geneticists to figure out what offspring will come out of plants or animals that they are studying and potentially discover many things such as plietropy, polygenic traits, mutations, x or Y linked diseases, etc. They would only discover things about the genetics/heredity of the specific organism, not necessarily anything else.
