i say numbers because the order that it is in makes sense
Backward Sequence..
There are no numbers in alphabetical order! In alphanumeric order, numbers come first.
Then it would not be possible to express many numbers; or a more complicated system would have to be invented, to be able to work with larger numbers.
Let's say your six numbers are 652424 then you put them in order 224456 then cross them off and get 4 and 5 then you and them and divide by 2 and that is the median.

If I'm not wrong, sets of numbers are groups of numbers, pairs of numbers, but meant to be together in a certain order, way. When you say, take a set of numbers, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10... You took a group of numbers that are all even numbers. I guess its that, but Im not sure. Hope I helped in some way :)
A counting order is the way that numbers are organized to show their relation to each other. There are many different ways numbers are listed in order. They can be only even numbers, odd numbers, or any other specific order.
