In mathematics, a plane is a flat surface in three-dimensional space. The equation of a plane has the form a*x + b*y + c*z = d, where a, b, c, d are some specific numbers and x, y, z are variables. A plane is then the collections of all points (x, y, z) satisfying the plane equation. In higher mathematics (linear algebra) we can view a plane as the set of all vectors <x,y,z>, such that the dot product between <x,y,z> and <a,b,c> is the constant d, where <a,b,c> is a vector perpendicular to the surface of the plane.
