The median is the number in the middle. If you have an odd number of numbers (in this case 7), that's good. 1st, put all the numbers in ORDER. Then just cross of a number on one side, then the other. Keep going until you have one number left.

Ex. 6 5 9 12 7 13 5 then put them in order:

5 5 6 7 9 12 13

cross of the 1st 5 them cross off 13 then cross off 12 and the other 5. then 6 & 9. the answer would be 7.

Now if U have an even number of numbers, you've gotta do some more work. Add the 2 numbers in hte middle an then divide by 2.

Ex.5 14 7 5 2 7 Put in ORDER: 2 5 7 7 10 14

cross of 2 & 14 cross of 10 & 5 then you have 2 sevens in the middle. 7+7=14 divided by 2 is 7. So the median, or number in the middle, would be seven.
