There really is no answer to your question. In order to provide an answer there would have to be another side to the equation ex: 2y + 6x = 12 and also another equation with the same variables ex: x + y = 8, or another side to the equation with one of the variables given ex: x = 4 find what y equals if x + y = 8.
11x + 2y
6x-2y
6x+2y-3 = 0 2y = -6x+3 y = -3x+3/2 in slope intercept form
-6x = 2y - 120 -2y -2y -2y - 6x = -120 +6x +6x -2y = 6x - 120 -2y/-2 = 6x/-2 - 120/-2 y = -3x + 60
6x+2y=4 gives y=2-(1/3)x
2y = -6x + 8 The y intercept occurs when x = 0 2y = 8 therefore y = 4
6x - y
3x + 6y + 6x = 9x + 6y which can be factorised as 3(3x +2y)
4x-2y
Combine like terms. 6x - 2y +7.
It is: 6x-5y simplified
Generally, function values are Y values, so.......... 6X + 2Y = 24 subtract 6X from each side 2Y = - 6X + 24 divide both the integers on the right by 2 Y = - 3X + 12 -------------------------the function
