The slanted side is a right angle triangle with height of 4 cm and a base of 3 cm because of the parallels 7-4 = 3

Using Pythagoras: 32+42 = 25 and the square root of this is 5

So the length of the slanted side is 5 cm

Note that in some countries a trapezoid is known as a trapezium.

How do you find the height of a trapezoid if only the area and the parallel sides are given the sides are 12 cm and 19 cm respectively and there are two lines in the middle of the trapezoid?

We will take the height as unknown, so Unknown = X Area = 1/2 x X x (12 + 19) X = A/31 And there you have it. :D.

What angle does the height intersect with the base of a parallelogram?

The height is a perpendicular angle from the base. The sides of the parallelogram are slanted tho and this will vary for every parallelogram. To find the height you typically make a triangle with one of the slanted sides.
