∙ 10y agoAssuming the base is square, then:
The area of the two bases = 2 x 8 x 8 = 128 cm
The area of the four side areas = 4 x 8 x 12 = 384 cm
Total area = 128 + 384 = 512 cm

∙ 10y agoSuch a pyramid cannot exist. If it is a regular pyramid with side length 8, its slant height MUST be less than 8. In fact, it is approx 6.39.
The surface area is quadrupled.
Do length X height for one side. Then multiply that by 6 because there are 6 sides, and it is a cube, so each side is equal.
Side length is 8 meters.
(length of side)2 X 6 [or (length of side) X (length of side) X 6]

6 centimetres( to find surface area one must multiply height by height, width by width and length by length. Then you must add the products together and you get the surface area. To get the side lengths from a surface area you must reverse and divide it by 3[height,length and width]. In your case that would be 18. Then you must find a number that when multiplied by 3 equals the quotient of the first division{18} and there you have it 6). This only works on cubes.
Total surface area= 1/2 times the perimeter of the base times the slant height plus the area of the base Lateral surface area= 1/2 times the perimeter times the slant height
The surface area can not be found from this information.
Base * height is surface area or (bh)
PerimeterThe perimeter of a polygon is the sum of the lengths of all its sides. What is the perimeter of a square having side-length 74 cm? Since a square has 4 sides of equal length, the perimeter of the square is 74 + 74 + 74 + 74 = 4 × 74 = 296.

with a tape measure To calculate the area of a rectangle, you multiply the length times the width. To calculate the area of a square, you multiply one side times another side. To calculate the area of a circle, you multiply the diameter times pi (that's 3.1416). To calculate the area of a triangle, you multiply the height times the base, and divide by 2.
The volume of a triangular pyramid can be found using the formula Volume=Base Area x height /3. Surface Area can be expressed as Surface Area =Base Area+0.5 x perimeter x side length.
The surface area is 600 sq. inches. The formula for surface area of a cube is 6s^2 where s is the side length. The general surface area formula is 2B+Ph where B is the area of the base, P is the perimeter of the base and h is the height.
