if the shape is drawn to scale,(on paper) then measure the two side one width one length. when uve done that, multiply together. lets take a cube for example. the width of one face is 5cm and the lengh is 7cm times those together and 35cm squared is your answer.(make sure to wright squared as a small 2 at the top) to find out the whole surface area,(of this cube)times the answer(35 in this case) by 6 (it is 6 because that is how many sides are on a cube.) your answer would be 205 cm squared hope this helps!!! :P
Surface Area = ~4,712.4 ft2
The area of rectangle is : 35.0
Different things have different shapes, so you can't use the same technique on everything. Measure the surface area of a cube is not done the same way as measuring the surface area of a sphere, and measuring the surface area of an irregularly shaped object is another matter entirely. In the simplest case, which is a rectangle, you simply multiply the length by the width. 5 inches x 7 inches = 35 square inches.

35 to the 3rd? That would be 48275.

Perimeter:20 inches Area:35
35 x 35 x 6 = 7350
Pressure on the table = cube's weight / area of contactCube's weight = M G = (35) (9.8) = 343 newtonsArea of contact = area of one face of the cube = (1.5m) squared = 2.25 square meterPressure = 343/2.25 = 152 and 4/9 newton per square meter = 152 and 4/9 PascalThe idea is to:a) Calculate the weight of the 35 kg cube (multiply mass x gravity - gravity is approximately 9.8 newton/kilogram). The weight will be in newton.b) Calculate the surface area of the block (the bottom square, where it is in contact with the table).c) Divide the result of (a) by the result of (b). The answer will be in newton per square meter, also known as pascal.

It has 35 sides.
If 3 5 inches meant 35 inches, then the cube's volume is 35 x 35 x 35 = 42875 cubic inches.
