1 and 6

or

2 and 5

or

3 and 4

If we look at 1 and 6, we could get a 6 or a 1 first, the chance of

either one of those is 2/6 or 1/3

Now once we have that, we need an exact number for the second number.

If we rolled a 6 we need a 1. We have a 1/6 chance of that.

So we have (1/3)(1/6)=1/18

Now we can do this for each of the three ways we have to get 7, that is to say for (1,5), (2,5) and (3,4).

So we add 1/18+1/18+1/18=3/18 or 1/6
