You dont really, well at least in my years of knowledge
I dont know
Subtraction, division
You find the least common denominator and then you see how many times the denominator of the actual fraction goes into it, then you multiply that by how many times it goes into the least common denominator, then you just do it for the other fraction as well, example:6/9+3/7= The least common denominator is 56 bcuz 9 and 7 dont go into eachother, then you find how many times 9 goes into 56: which is 7 so you multiply it by 6 and you have 56/56= 1 whole, so thats the first fraction and you do the same thing to the nextYou can go to YouTube to find GREAT videos!Josh W.
ok this is like 5th grade math but you have to multiply. Say it is 1/4+3/8. You have to multiply the lower denominator which in this case is 4 to get it to 8. Which you get 4x2=8 right. Well whatever you do to the denominator you have to do to the numerator. so the numerator is 1 in the fraction of 1/4 and you get 1x2=2. So then your problem is 2/8+3/8= 5/8. If your worried that the denominator will not go into it dont because you will never get a problem like that
The least common denominator for 3 and 4 is 12. if u dont belive us try it in your notebook

exactly you got it you dont need help :)

That's a proper fraction.
for three 3 6 9 12 for five 5 10 15 20 these both numbers dont share a common denominator in the first 4 multiples
You have to double the numerator, but the value of the fraction remians the same but if you dont double the numerator then you dont have the same fraction
Dont cheat
do's and dont's for search and rescue
example: 3/4+3/8=? First find a common multiple: 8 then make sure the denominator for each is 8. To do that for the first fraction you have to multiply the denominator by 2...and whatever you do to the denominator you have to do to the numerator. so you multiply the 3 also. 3/4=6/8 since the denominator for the second fraction is already 8, you dont do anything to it/it stays the same! add across and the new equation is: 6/8+3/8=9/8 Hope it helped!
