yes it can, it is quite easy to pick a non tessellate shape and pick another shape(tessellate or not) that when put together make a square and there you go.
Show me how you get 30?
Yes, all you do is put them together and then the surrounding pieces will make the other side!
a cube! a cube is basically 6 squares put together, which we know all have equal sides.
Put the two bases of the triangle together. To form a square. Place the squares side by side to form a rectangle
An octagon cannot tessellate because when you put about 4 together, there are gaps in between the shapes, which is not allowed in a tessellation. When you put together 5 octagon's, some of them are overlapping and there still are gaps. Therefore, an octagon cant tessellate.
Regular pentagons do not tessellate.
Semi circles cannot tessellate on their own because they do not have a consistent straight edge to fit together seamlessly without gaps or overlaps. In order to tessellate, a shape must be able to fill a plane without any overlaps or gaps. However, semi circles can be combined with other shapes to create a tessellation, such as alternating semi circles with squares or triangles.
with 6 squares of cardboard and put them together with tape or stapels

Put the right sides of two squares together and stitch them with wool, use an over stitch, put your needle onto the first two squares, push it through both squares then pull it out, pass needle over the top of the squares and do the same thing again. Keep wool tight so stitches don't show on the right side

Oh, what a happy little question! Unfortunately, a pentagon and a square won't tessellate perfectly together because their angles and sides are different. But don't worry, there are other shapes that can tessellate beautifully and create wonderful patterns. Just keep exploring and painting your tessellation world with different shapes and colors!
Because you use it to draw squares. Also if you put two together they make a square.

Tessellation: to form or arrange patterns of shapes in a layout that leaves no gaps or overlays. So basically, its a series of shapes that are put together leaving no gaps or any overlaps. for example, lots of squares put together would leave no gaps but a circle wouldn't work because if you put them together they leave gaps.
