Since the GCF of 5 and 6 is 1, their LCM is their product.
The first five multiples of 30 are 30, 60, 90, 120, 150
I would do it like this though I'm sure there are other ways: There are 10 multiples of 3 every 30 (3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30). There are (1000/30)= 33 lots of 30 in 1000 Therefore there are (10 x 33)=330 multiples of 3 which brings us up to 990 (330x3 =990) Then there are 3 more multiples of 3 993, 996,999 This makes the total 333 multiples of three between 1 and 1001
I believe you can work that out. I'll get you started. 3,6,9,12 and just keep adding three until you get to 75. ------------------------ 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36,39,42,45,48,51,54,57,60,63,66,69,72,75
The way you find a multiple of a number is by looking at all the number that equal it. ex. 6: 6,12,18,24,30,36,42,48 and more on multiples never stop but greatest common factors do.

You make a table of their multiples and find the first instance where they are the same. To show work, circle it.
The first five common multiples are the first five multiples of the lowest common multiple. lcm(5, 6): 5 = 5 6 = 2 x 3 → lcm = 2 x 3 x 5 = 30 → first 5 common multiples of 5 and 6 are: 30 x 1 = 30 30 x 2 = 60 30 x 3 = 90 30 x 4 = 120 30 x 5 = 150
3, 6, 9, 12
Write out the multiples. 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36,39,42 14,28,42 The LCM is 42.
The first is 5*1, the second is 5*2 etc. It is easy enough to work these out.
4 x 7 x 1 = 28 4 x 7 x 2 = 56 4 x 7 x 3 = 84 4 x 7 x 4 = 112 4 x 7 x 5 = 140
