The most likely result is that much of the kinetic energy would be converted to heat, completely melting and partially vaporizing both planets. The resulting molten material would spray in all directions, some would consolidate under gravity into several large bodies while others would disperse as droplets. These bodies and droplets would slowly cool (the largest ones taking as much as a million years) and resolidify.

Is it possible for planets to collide at each other?

Yes. Two scientists with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics state that our galaxy, 'The Milky Way', could be on a collision course with the 'Andromeda' galaxy, or at least the dark matter halos could be, depending upon transverse velocity. However this event is estimated to be about 3-5 billion years away, long after our own Sun has grown to the stage where all water on our planet would be vaporised and all life having ceased to exist.

What are the planets that could be under terrestrial planets and which planets could be called gas planets?

Terrestrial planets include Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, as they have solid surfaces. Gas planets include Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, as they are primarily composed of gases like hydrogen and helium with no solid surface.

Why do planets don't fall down?

Actually gravitational influences can be found all over the universe and currently it is thought that gravity never goes out of range but just gets weaker and weaker with distance. The reason planets don't fall into the Sun is that they have their own velocity. This, combined with the Sun's gravity, produces a stable orbit around the Sun.

What planets in our solar system that could have an eclipse?

The moons of the big planets can go into eclipse when they are in the shadow of their planet.

The displacement time graph of a body is ll to time axis what will you infer about the velocity of the body?

That the component of the velocity towards or away from the origin is zero. You can infer nothing at all about its overall velocity since it could be travelling in a transverse direction at any velocity.

What is a merger?

A Vertical Merger is a company merger that involves the union of a customer with a vendor. The two companies involved in the merger produce different but complimentary products. The vertical merger can also take place as a means of combining assets to capture a sector of the market that either company could manage on their own.

Are all stars and planets are about the same age?

All of the planets are in the same atmosphere. All of the planets are unique. All of the planets are considered planets. All of the planets have moons. All of the planets are named after a mythical person or thing.

What is a real life example of a vertical merger?

A real life example of a vertical merger would be the merger of DoubleClick (a web advertising information company) with Google (the largest web search company). However, this could be seen as just an acquisition (Google paid shareholders $3.1 billion USD).

If an object has zero acceleration what two things could be true about its velocity?

The velocity does not change direction or magnitude. The object 1) may not be moving, or it 2) may be moving at a constant velocity. In the case of the latter, that means it's moving in the same direction and at a constant speed.

What is a sentence you could put the word velocity?

"The velocity of the bullet was 300 metres per second."

Is feet per second the same thing as velocity?

Feet per second is a unit of velocity, but not necessarily the same thing. Velocity could be in meters per hour or feet per second could be a measure of speed, which does not take direction into account, as velocity does.

Could the body's velocity be zero?

if it is not moving

Are the planets Zuturn and Neuba Real?

No. because we have only 8 planets. But in a way if you were doing a project and it was about made up planets you could say they are real planets.

Could we get to earth-like planets?

Humans cannot get to any Earth-like planets, yet! as the distances are just too massive. Once we're able to traverse at a fast enough velocity (IE, close to the speed of light) we will be able to cover those distances because time effectively 'slows down' the faster you travel.
