its posable that 100amps direct burial cable (copper at your best) in my sugestion should be a minium size of 2/0 and ground size of #2 this is stepped up for voltage drop concerns.

12 gauge underground wire or if you think you will ever add any devices to this circuit use 10 gauge.

What size wire do you need to run 100 ft 75 amp 230 volt?

Depends on the size of the circuit which you did not list.

What size wire is needed to run a 75 amp 240 volt circuit with 100 ft run?

For a 75 amp circuit with a 100 ft run, you would need a #4 AWG copper wire to ensure minimal voltage drop and to meet electrical code requirements. Using the correct wire size helps maintain the efficiency and safety of the circuit.

Can work wire for 100 amps use for 60 amps circuit?

Using a wire rated for 100 amps for a 60-amp circuit is generally fine. It's important to ensure that the wire gauge matches the amperage requirements to prevent overheating and potential fire hazards. Check local electrical codes to confirm that it is within regulations.

What gauge wire do you need to run a 30 amp circuit 100 feet?

For a 30 amp circuit running 100 feet, you would typically need to use at least a 10-gauge wire to ensure safe and efficient electrical flow. It's important to consult local building codes and regulations to ensure compliance.

That can't be answered until you state the voltage.

How do you calcuate Voltage Drop 100' 10 wire copper 30 amps?

Use the Related Link Website. At the same website check out wire size calculator. You need a #8 wire to get a full 30 load at 100 feet.

What size wire and circuit breaker is needed for an electric oven 4 wires with rated load of 34.9 amps 220v that is about 100 foot run from the electrical panel?

That would be a 40 amp 220v circuit. Circuit breaker is 40 amps and wire is 8 awg. Should use solid copper wire. Follow oven installation instructions.

A 100 foot fish tape and wire lubrication will be needed to make this wire pull.

What size wire IS needED FPR A 30 AMP OUTLET BOX?

It depends upon the length of the circuit, but for 50 feet or less a 10 gauge wire should be fine. A short length (15 feet), you could use 12 gauge. If you double the length to 100 feet, you should use 8 gauge. A rule of thumb is to drop down a gauge for every length that is doubled. There are wire size charts available on the internet. Some can be conservative such as recommending #8 for 50 ft or less at 30 amps. It is better to be conservative than to run too much amperage on a smaller wire that can cause a fire. As a general rule, 12ga wire can be used in house circuits for 20amps or less. 16ga wire can be used for 15 amps or less such as lighting circuits. That is considering lengths of less than 100 feet.

What size wire for a 200 amp 3phase service 100 feet away?

This is a voltage drop question. A voltage must be stated to answer this question.

What is the required wire size for a 230 feet run 480 volt 100 amp?

Depends on length. The more length, the more resistance.
