You divide mixed fractions by first changing them into improper fractions or decimals, and then you divide from there.

For example, if you had

1 1/2 / 2 1/2

then change it to improper fractions

3/2 / 5/2

then you can divide

3/2 x 2/5 = 6/10 = 3/5

Or the decimal way:

1.5 / 2.5 = .6
