An Integer is the name given to a whole number, as opposed to a fraction or mixed number. Answer:- just add them together. 3/4 is called a fraction or more correctly, a Vulgar fraction. 2&2/3 is called a mixed number (part integer and part fraction ) 7/4 is called an improper fraction because the numerator is greater than the denominator. Improper fractions are usually turned into mixed numbers. E.G. 7/4 = 1&3/4
