To round to the ones place you would need the tenths place. Just as rounding works in front of the decimal point, it works the same behind the decimal point. Meaning that If in the tenths place you have a 5 or higher you round up. If you have 4 or lower you round down.

Examples:

  • 3.4 rounds to 3.0
  • 3.5 rounds to 4.0
  • 32.5 rounds to 33.0
  • 32.4 rounds to 32.0

Oh, dude, it's like super easy. You just look at the digit to the right of the ones place. If it's 5 or higher, you round up; if it's 4 or lower, you round down. Like, it's basic math, man.
