People all around America still use Archimedes discoveries today. Like The snail screw we use that to raise and move water. Another discovery from Archimedes we use today is pi. We use pi to find the circumference for circles. Everyone should use the "Principles of Archimedes" because we use that to weigh objects.

Archimedes
Pi was first computed by the Greek philosopher and mathematician Archimedes.

It was Archimedes.
Just divide 56 by pi. Pi is approximate 3.14; or use the "pi" key on your scientific calculator.Just divide 56 by pi. Archimedes made pi more precise
Archimedes first used the symbol PI because he was the first one to discover it so he wanted to investigate about it.
pi has been around for as long as we have had written records. Its approximate estimated value of Pi up to 5 decimal places is 3.14159 .Archimedes was the first person to estimate the correct value of pi

The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its radius.
3 1/7 and 3 10/71
If pi=3.14, then the circumference is ( 3.14 times the diameter).
The first person to use pi is the awesome man Archimedes he was the first to compute pi's value accurately! I know this answer and I'm in 5th grade!:)
The approximate area of the circle lies between the areas of the circumscribed and the inscribed hexagons.
