What do 10 and 14 have in common? 2.

10 / 2 = 5

14 / 2 = 7

Put 2 outside the brackets. Then put 5 and 7 inside the brackets. Since it's 10x, you add the x to the 2, so 2x, and since it's -14 , remember to write -7! And add the xy.

So the answer is: 2(5x-7xy)
