it is a straight line. if -2=a and 3=b, you can se the general form y=ax+b. the point (0,b) is the point the line crosses the y axes, so here it's (0,3) and a is the Tangent of the corner formed by the x axes and your line,which here is -2. also science -2 is negative number, the line is on the 2nd and 4th quadrands
