7 y - 4 + y + 5 = 287 y + y + 1 = 288 y + 1 = 288 y = 27y = 27/8y = 3.375
y=3 y^3(y^3-y)= 3^3(3^3-3)= 27(27-3)= 27(24)=648

y = -26
An easy way to find the intercepts is to substitue zero into the other variable. y-intercept is when x=0 -2y=27 y=-27/2 y=-13 1/2 is the y-intercept. 9x=27 x=3 is the x-intercept.
Let's call these two numbers x and y. Our first goal is find a way to express one of the variables in terms of another. x+y=27 x=27-y Now that we have a value for x that can be expressed with y, let's plug it into the next problem. x-y=5 (27-y)-y=5 27-2y=5 -2y=-22 y=11 Once we have a concrete value for y, we can use that to solve for x. x=27-y x=27-11 x=16 For a final step, use these numbers in the original problems to check the answer. x+y=27 x-y=5 16+11=27 16-11=5 27=27 5=5
If Y=5x + 2 and x is 5 then Y= 5*5 +2, using order of operations, you get Y=25 +2 Y= 27
7 y - 4 + y + 5 = 287 y + y + 1 = 288 y + 1 = 288 y = 27y = 27/8y = 3.375
-27
x+y=27 x=14 27-14=y y=13
Y^3(Y^3-Y)=???We know Y=3 so this, Y^3(Y^3-Y) now looks like this..3^3(3^3-3)For the outsidewe know 3^3=27Ex. 3x3x3=27Break Down3x3=9x3=27So from Y^3(Y^3-Y)we went to 3^3(3^3-3)to this 27(27-3)Now subtract 27-3=24to get you final X27(24)= or 27*24= 648Steps...Y^3(Y^3-Y)Y^3(Y^3-Y)3^3(3^3-3)27(27-3)27(24)= or 27*24= 648
y=3 y^3(y^3-y)= 3^3(3^3-3)= 27(27-3)= 27(24)=648
y = 3 (y^3)(y^3 - 1) = (3^3)(3^3 - 1) = 27(27 - 1) = 27(26) = 702

I assume the expression is y2+12y+27 as I cannot see the operation symbols between them (editor problem?). If you agree with this then y2 + 12y + 27 = y2 + 9y + 3y + 27 = y(y + 9) + 3(y + 9) = (y + 3)(y + 9)
y = -26
ok well the answer i got to was y= -4.5, i came to that by subtsituting in 5 for the x value and solving for y i assumed everything was adding together since you didnt say otherwise. ill show my work now 3(5)+6y+12 =15+6y+12 =27+6y -27/6=6y/6 y=-4.5
