Certainly. A negative angle is simply clockwise instead of counterclockwise from the zero angle, but this is usually not indicated as such on a drawing.

What is difference between positive and negative rake angle?

The clear difference between positive and negative rake angles is that for the positive rake angle, the leading edge of the cutting tool is behind the perpendicular of the material to be cut. While the tool leading edge is ahead or beyond the perpendicular for the negative rake angle.

How many angles are there in a trapezium?

A trapezium has 4 right angles...Correction: it has 4 angles but they are not right angles. A structure/shape with 4 right angles is a rectangle or square.

What is the difference between angles of trigonometry and angles of geometry?

In geometry, angles are studied mostly in relation to each other. In Trigonometry, angles are studied in relation to side lengths and triangles.

What are the quadrant angles?

Quadrant angles are the angle lies in different quadrants. The angles which lie between 0° and 90° are said to lie in the first quadrant. The angles between 90° and 180° are in the second quadrant, angles between 180° and 270° are in the third quadrant and angles between 270° and 360° are in the fourth quadrant Quadrant angles are the angle lies in different quadrants. What are negative quadrant angles?

using protactor, we use to draw angles in anticlockwise direction and that angles are called positive quadrant angles. and angles in clockwise direction, these angles are called negative quadrant angles.

Is it possible to have a negative degree minute second answer?

Yes, it is possible to have a negative degree minute second answer in geography or navigation when referencing locations south of the equator or west of the Prime Meridian. The negative sign indicates the direction of the coordinate relative to the reference point.

Why are cosines positive and negative?

How do you find the reference angles for cos?

by using rightangle triangle

Can an angle be negative?

Visually it doesn't make sense for an angle to be negative. However we often measure angles off of some axis, such as the x-axis, and positive angles go around counter-clockwise, while negative angles go around clockwise. Outside of the context of a Cartesian Coordinate system (x-y plane), negative angles don't generally make sense.

Can you find the reference angle of a quadrantal angle?

Yes. Quadrantal angles have reference angles of either 0 degrees (e.g. 0 degrees and 180 degrees) or 90 degrees (e.g. 90 degrees and 270 degrees).

Why dispacement can be negative?

When a body covers a displacement in the opposite direction of our reference direction then displacement will be negative.
