How do you factor x2 plus x plus 35?

That doesn't factor neatly. Applying the quadratic formula, we find two imaginary solutions: (-1 plus or minus the square root of -139) divided by 2.

x = -0.5 + 5.894913061275798i

x = -0.5 - 5.894913061275798i

where i is the square root of -1.
