2542

22*22*22=10648

v=(4 pi r^3)/3

r=1

v=4pi/3

10648/(4pi/3)=2542.02

This number doesn't seem right to me but I checked with two others and they didn't see any flaws, so, it should be right.

Why is a ball spherical?

Balls can be spherical or not. The (American) football uses a ball that is far from spherical. However, a sphere is a perfect geometrical solid with a uniform radius, and a ball made in that shape is quite suitable for games. It will, for instance, bounce in a predictable way.

How do you identify two balls having same external radius and weight one hollow and the other solid of different materials?

If you tap on them, one of them may "sound hollow". In general, certain waves (like sound) will be affected differently, depending on whether the balls are hollow or solid.If you tap on them, one of them may "sound hollow". What is the name of the regular solid whose surface area is 4 times the radius squared?

Sphere

The moment of inertia of a solid cylinder is?

the moment of inertia of a solid cylinder about an axis passing through its COM and parallel to its length is mr2/2 where r is the radius.

How do you derive the moment of inertia of solid sphere?

mass moment of inertia for a solid sphere: I = (2 /5) * mass * radius2 (mass in kg, radius in metres)

What is the definition of metallic solid?

Metallic solid is the meaning of a certain alloy that was probably originally liquid but was then manufactured to become a solid metallic alloy. But in non nerd details; a metal liquid turned into a solid metal.
