Are you looking for six numbers, as you say at the beginning of the question, or two, like you say at the end? There are an infinite number of solutions, unless you're working only in the context of integers or of whole numbers or of natural numbers. One solution would be 1,2,3,12,12,12.

How can two data sets with different numbers have the same mean median and mode?

(10,10,30,30,30,50,50) (20,20,30,30,30,40,40) These two sets have the same mean, median and mode.

The mean of eight numbers is 41. The mean of two numbers is 29. What is the mean of the other six numbers?

45

What does mode and mean mean?

mean- the sum of all the numbers divided by the number of numbers media means like the press i think u mean median- put all the numbers in numerical order and find the middle number, if there are two middle numbers then add them up and divide them by two (find their mean) mode- the most common number; the number that appears the most times (there may be more than one mode or no mode at all)

What is the mean median mode range for 12107 1115?

The mean and the median of the two numbers, 12107 and 1115 are 6611.There is no mode. The range is 10992.

There are 5 single digit number there mean median and mode are the same what are the numbers?

They could all be the same number, e.g. 55555 (mean=median=mode=5) or they could be three numbers the same, with an equal space between the first two and the last two, e.g. 24446 (mean=median=mode=4). For the mode to be well-defined, some of the numbers have to be the same.

What does 'mean' and 'mode' mean in maths terms?

The mode is the most common number in a list of numbers. If two numbers are tied then there is two modes. If there is no number occurring the most then there is 'no mode'. The mean of a set of numbers is found by adding up all the numbers and then dividing by how many number there are. E.g consider the set of numbers: 4, 5, 5, 10. The mode is the most common number which is 5. The mean is found by (4 + 5 + 5 + 10) / 4 = 24/4 = 6.

How can you find the mean if there are not two numbers the same?

The mean is adding up all numbers and dividing it by the amount of numbers there is. The mode is the most common number of which it would be all numbers

What is the mode if no two number are alike?

If no two numbers are alike, then there is no mode. The mode is none.

What does mean media and mode mean?

mean- the sum of all the numbers divided by the number of numbers media means like the press i think u mean median- put all the numbers in numerical order and find the middle number, if there are two middle numbers then add them up and divide them by two (find their mean) mode- the most common number; the number that appears the most times (there may be more than one mode or no mode at all)

What is the mode if no two numbers are the same?

there is no mode if no two answers are the same.

When do use the mode instead of the mean?

They are two completely different mathematical terms. The mode of a set of numbers is the number that appears most in the set. The mean is the average of the numbers in the number set. Add all numbers together and then divide by however many numbers are in the set.

What if you have 2 numbers how do you find the mode?

If there is no repeated numbers there is simply no mode. If there is two numbers that are the same, (example: 3,3) then that will be your mode. (Data: 3,3 Mode:3)
