It is 10, the middle value between the two middle numbers.

The median of the set is the mean of the middle two numbers, 8 and 9. That is, 8.5

Yes. Both 9 and 11 are prime numbers.

9 and 10 are but 11 is prime

If you line numbers up, it's the middle number in the group. If you have the numbers 2, 23, and 11, when you line them up in order, they would be 2, 11, and 23. 11 is in the middle, so it would be the median. But, let's say you had the numbers 5, 3, 9, and 6. When you line them up, it would be 3, 5, 6, 9. Five and six are the numbers in the middle. You can't have two medians, so the number would go in between 5 and 6. The median in 5.5 or 5 and a half. Hope I helped!

The numbers are increasing by 10, then 9. 1 + 10 = 11, 11 + 9 = 20, and so on.

No technical reason. Mathematically arranging numbers 1 to 9 in three rows of three just happens to have five in middle of middle row ... 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Take the two numbers in the middle and divide by 2 ( that is the average of those two middle numbers). For example if the two middle numbers are 7 and11 the median is 9

It is 8.5, the mean of the middle two numbers, 8 and 9.

There are infinite numbers, but 11* 9 is fine.

9 and 11. 9*11=99 11-9=2 Seriously, put sometime into thinking through, it's not that hard.

9 and 10

A paradox occurs in the space-time continuum and the universe ceases to exist ;) But seriously, what you probably REALLY mean is how do you find the median of a list of numbers with an even number of numbers. When you have an even number of numbers, you take the average of the two middle numbers. So for example: 1, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 The two middle numbers are 8 and 10. The average of 8 and 10 is 9, so the median of the above example is 9.

The numbers are: 9+sq rt of 11 and 9-sq rt of 11

The median is the middle number when the numbers are in order. 6 is in the middle of these numbers.

If you are including 10 and 30 there are 11 even numbers. If you are not counting 10 and 30 there are 9 even numbers between 10 and 30.

9, 10, 11, 12

The middle two numbers are 8 and 10 so the median is 9.

The given Roman numerals are equivalent to: 11, 8, 14, 4 and 9 and so the middle number is 14

9, 10, 11. Let the middle number be n, then the three numbers are (n-1), n, (n+1) with: (n-1) + n + (n+1) = 30 → 3n = 30 → n = 10 → the numbers are 10-1 = 9, 10 and 10+1 = 11.

The numbers are 9, 10, 11 and 12.

9 and 11

The numbers are 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

7, 9 & 11.
