Math is one of those subjects that you must practice -- the only way to get better is to do the problems until you truly understand them. Memorize your "times tables" and whatever formula or formulae are needed in your class -- knowing these by memory will make you better and faster at solving the problems.

You get better at math by listening to your teacher. Ask questions - even if your crush is around. Ask adults that know alot about math for help. I would also suggest that you start from the basics: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and then work yourself up!!!
You need to just keep practicing - like a lot of things. The more you do it, the better you get at it. But you have to be sure you're getting the right answers first! If you can't add 9+7, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT trying to solve 9*29. That's all there is to it!
