x=2 means that on a graph, on the x axis, there is a point. Also, since it is just x=2 it means that the slope is undefined, or that there is a line that is going through that point that is perpendicular to the x-axis. So basically there is a line that goes through (2,0) that is parallel to the y-axis.

You can graph X -4 2 and slope 3 2 by first finding the values of X and Y and then using those values to sketch your graph.

How do you graph the equation negative x plus 2y equals 4?

if 2y-x=4, than y=1/2*x+2 we can now see that the graph is linear with slope 1/2 and goes through point (0,2)

How do you graph x-y equals -2?

x - y = -2 Get the y alone on the left. - y = -2 - x y = 2 + x y = x + 2 This is the slope-intercept form. y=mx+b m=slope=1 and b=intercept=2 This means that the graph has a slope of 1, so goes up one unit for each unit it goes right, and crosses the y-axis at y=2. ■

7x is still the slope, no matter what x equals.

Graph the line 5x-10 equals 2y?

2y = 5x - 10Putting into Slope-Intercept form, we have y = 5/2 x - 5. So, the y-intercept is -5 and the slope is 5/2 or 2.5. (x-intercept is 2).
