As 3 is a Prime number it has no other factors, and the factors of 6 are 2 and 3. So the least common multiple is 6 To convert 2/3 to a fraction with 6 as the denominator, we need to multiply both the numerator and the denominator by 2. This gives us 4/6. So the addition now becomes 4/6 + 4/6 which equals 8/6. That can be simplified to 22/6 or 21/3.
