The function is =Sin(). Inside the brackets put the value you want to find the sine for. So if you want the sine of 10°, then you would put the formula as follows:
=SIN(10)
There is no need to use the ° symbol. You could just put the value into a cell and use the the cell reference. You could have the 10 in cell A3 and in some other cell have:
=SIN(A3)
There is no function to create a quartile in Excel. A quartile is a 25% division of a statistical collection of data. You can use Excel to create a chart to let you observe the quartiles of the data.
Use the arcsine function. On calculators, this appears as sin-1, in Excel it is ASIN(x).
There is no step function in Excel. However, you can use excel to create a Step Function Chart. See related links for a video to explain the process.
The differential of the sine function is the cosine function while the differential of the cosine function is the negative of the sine function.
Waves are periodic function, as is the sine function.
The primary function of Word is to create documents, Power point is to create slides. Excel can be used for calculations and tables.
Yes, sine is a trig function, it is opposite over hypotenuse.
A sine graph!
Yes. Along with the tangent function, sine is an odd function. Cosine, however, is an even function.
Yes, the sine function is a periodic function. It has a period of 2 pi radians or 360 degrees.
The sine function repeats every 2pi radians (360 degrees).
The sign is >. Sine is a trigonometric function.
