The function is =Sin(). Inside the brackets put the value you want to find the sine for. So if you want the sine of 10°, then you would put the formula as follows:

=SIN(10)

There is no need to use the ° symbol. You could just put the value into a cell and use the the cell reference. You could have the 10 in cell A3 and in some other cell have:

=SIN(A3)
