The circumference of a circle is a distance. It's the distance you would drive to go around the circle.
If you straighten it out, you have a line. It's a simple length, and doesn't involve squares or cubes.
If they give you the radius of a circle and u want to find the circumference u have to do
2* TT* r and if they give u the diameter u do TT*d
To find the area of a circle using the circumference, you need to use the formula Area=Circumference squared divided by four times pi. For this type of equation, pi would be equal to 3.14.
to get the circumference of a circle you must multiply pi times diameter so say the circle's diameter was 8, you would do you 8 x pi (3.14 in this case) = 25.12 . that would be the circumference. the formula is circumference = pi (3.14) x diameter ! here's some extra information, to get the area of a circle you have to multiply pi and the radius of the circle squared. so say the circles radius is 2, then you have to square 3 which is 9. to square a number you have to take that number and multiply it by itself , in this case i did 3x3 to get the radius squared. OK, so now that i have the radius squared you need to multiply it by pi. which is 3.14 , so 9 x 3.14 = 28.26 the formula is area = pi x radius squared.
Since the circumference is equal to the diameter times pi, you need to divide the circumference by pi in this case.
16.55cm - If you want to work it out, you will need to divide the circumference by pi.
The formula for finding circumference is 2∏r (or ∏d). So to find the diameter, you would divide the circumference by pi (3.14, approximately).
To determine the cubic inches of a ball when you only know the circumference, you first need to find the radius by dividing the circumference by 2π. Then, you can use the formula for the volume of a sphere, V = 4/3 πr³, where r is the radius that you calculated.
I also need to know the answer to this problem. Can anyone answer it?
because. If you don't, the Perclius squared will mix with the flothing cubed and will create a fortheisan explosion. Hope This Helped!

u cant have circumference inside a circle inside of a circle is called area out side the circle its called circumference. If you are calculating the circumference the formula is C(circumference)=pi(3.142)*d(diameter) so its C=pi*d note: if u want the accurate result press pi on a calculator which is like a table but the surface of the table is sticking out. now for the area A(area)=pi(3.142)*r squared(radius) so its A=pi*r squared. so heres an example work out the circumference if the diameter is 5cm so you do 5cm which is the diameter and multiply it my pi. So the answer is for two decimal place is 15.71cm here's another example using the radius the radius is half the diameter so in this case the radius is 2cm multiply it my two which gives 4 and then multiply my pi. Now example for area the radius is 3 but then i have to square it so i do 3(squared) which is 9cm(squared) then * pi which will give you 28.27cm(squared) area is inside a shape. hope this helped if you need help e-mail me at: nik.kita@hotmail.co.uk
x times x times x = 729 Answer is 9 9 cubed is one of the answers to the question, and most probably the only one you need, but for the sake of completeness, you need the other two answers, which are complex numbers: x= (9/2)(i(square root of 3)-9) x= (9/2)(-i(square root of 3)-9)
pie r squared sounds like area to me, when you need circumference you just use pie d. :) does that help?
Area of a circle is = Pi * Radius Squared. Depending how accurate you want to be you might need a calculator for Pi to more places but using Pi = 3.14 3.14 * 7 * 7 = 153.86 you should supply some units. If the 7 was in m this answer is in m squared. Circumference is generally = 2 * Pi * Radius 2 * 3.14 * 7 = 43.96 again if the 7 is in meters then the answer is in m.
circumference of a circle = 2piradiuis or diameter*pi
lets take 2 for example, for a power of 2 (squared) you need to do 2x2=4 for powers of 3 (cubed) you must do 2x2x2=8 so for a power of 4 you must do 2x2x2x2=16. hope this helps :)
