It's impossible
base = (2*area)/height
Okay, to find the area of a triangle, you must multiply the base times the height of the triangle. Once you have that, divide your answer by 2. Always divide by 2. So, say you had a triangle with an area of 24 cm-squared. Since we're working out the problem backwards, you'll have to MULTIPLY 24 by 2, instead of dividing. 24x2= 48. Then, you simply have to find two numbers that, when multiplied together, give you 48. (6x8=48) So, to find base and height: Area x 2,
The only way to find the area is to have two sides to multiply them together unless you have the hypotenuse.
area is length times width
Base is just the face of the figure that is usually touching the "ground," but if you are talking about a prism, it's either of the two faces of the prism that aren't the rectangles or parallelograms that make up the sides. (In a triangular prism, it's the two triangles.) To find the area, you just use the formula for the figure that makes the base. Please note that these formulas that follow might mention base, but in these formulas, they are referring to the base line of the figure--for example, the length of a rectangle. For a rectangle or square, it would be base times height. For a triangle, base times height, divided by 2. For a trapezoid, base one plus base two, divided by two, times the height. For a circle (like in a cylinder or cone), it's pi times the radius squared. A cone and a pyramid have only one base each, but rectangular prisms have two, so you have to add both areas to get the total area of the faces.
base = (2*area)/height
Multiply the area by 2 and divide by the base
YOu divide the Base by half, and then DIvide the area by half of the base to get the height.
Divide the area by half the base.
Volume = (height)(area base)
You can only find the area of the base with this information. The volume divided by the height will give you the area of the base.
area = 1/2 base * perpendicular height you can't find both the base and the height if you only know the area
So, you divide the base by 2. Then, you divide the area by that answer and you'll find the height.
area =1/2 base length x height
you divide them
You cannot.
h=a/b
