You should get lower body exercise such as walking and jogging around 5-6 days a week with a day or two of rest. There are many muscles in your lower body, a lot moreso than in areas such as your arms - meaning they can be worked out a lot more. A good idea would be to get 20 minutes of walking in the morning and 20 in the evening.
