If the pool has a circular cross-section, use the formula for a cylinder. In other words, calculate the area of the circle, and then multiply by the depth. THe answer is in cubic feet. To convert that to liters, remember that 1 foot = 3.048 dm; cube that to get the equivalent in cubic decimeters (= liters) per foot.
