you will be 6 ft. 5 in
The standard domestic door measures 1981mm x 762mm (6ft 6ins x 2ft 6ins)
Their paws are about 6ins.
6Ft 3in
3*6*0.5 = 9 cubic feet.
1 inch is about 2.5 cm and 5ft 6ins is 66 inches So: 66/2.5 is about 26.4 cm
Remember the Imperial System of length. 12 inches = 1 foot 3 feet = 1 yard 22 yards = 1 chain 10 chain = 1 furlong 8 furlongs = 1 mile. So we have 162 inches. Divide 162 by 12 , this will give us the number of feet. 13 feet 6 inches. Divide 13 feet by 3 , this will give us the number of yards. 4 yards 1 feet Overall it is 4yds , 1 ft, 6 inches. However if we want this in yards. we need to convert 1ft 6ins to yards. In 1 ft 6 inches there are 18 inches. In 1 yard there 36 inches ( 3 x 12) Hence we can now write it as 4 yds 18/36 yds. 18/36 as a fraction reduces to 1/2 Hence the answer in yards is 4 1/2 yds . or 4.5 yds.
If we are talking about railways, Narrow Gauge is any distance between the rails smaller than 'Standard Gauge' which is 4ft 8.5ins. Some common narrow gauges are 3ft 6ins, 3ft, 2ft, 1ft 10ins.
If the pool has a circular cross-section, use the formula for a cylinder. In other words, calculate the area of the circle, and then multiply by the depth. THe answer is in cubic feet. To convert that to liters, remember that 1 foot = 3.048 dm; cube that to get the equivalent in cubic decimeters (= liters) per foot.
Mount Everest. He, along with Nepalese Sherpa Tenzing Norgay were the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. He was part of a team of over 400 people who went on the expedition.
The Morrison shelter was an internal domestic air raid shelter. It consisted of a steel frame covered in a steel mesh. One side of the shelter could be lifted to allow a family to shelter inside it during an air raid. Measuring approximately 6ft 6ins long by 4ft wide and about 2ft 6ins high they were named after Herbert Morrison the minister of Home Security and were introduced in 1941 to overcome the reluctance people had for using the Anderson Garden shelters which were cold, dark and prone to flooding. Morrison shelters had just enough space inside for three people to sleep and quickly became known as Table Shelters because they were the right dimensions to double up as a table if a tablcloth was thrown over them. Because they were used inside the home (unlike Anderson Shelters) the Morrison shelter carried with it the additional risk of being trapped inside it within a burning or collapsing building.
