Look at a shape and see if you can see that two halves mirror each other. To check, get a mirror and put it along this line. If the shape still looks the same using the mirror you have a line of symmetry. You can also trace half of the shape, turn the tracing paper over, put it on the other half of the shape and check it is the same. Yes another way to do it is think REFLECTION. If they are exactly the same, you have a line of symmetry!
There are three main methods: Method 1: The simplest situation is one in which the irregular shape can be divided up into shapes whose areas can be calculated. For example, the outline of an ice-cream cone may be viewed as a triangle with a semi-circle on top. So calculate the areas for the bits and add them up. Method 2: Trace the shape onto dense lamina of uniform thickness. Cut out the shape and measure its mass. Next cut out a UNIT square of the same lamina and measure its mass. Then Area of irregular shape = Mass of irregular lamina/Mass of lamina square. Method 3: Trace the shape onto a sheet of paper with square gridlines on it. Count the number of whole (or almost whole) squares inside the shape = A. Count the number of squares where approximately half is inside the area = B. Ignore all squares where only a tiny bit is in the marked area. Then, Area of irregular shape = (A+B/2)*area of unit square in the grid. The finer the grid, the more accurate your result, but also the harder you'll have to work.

Bartenders usually trace the symbol of a shamrock.

To coy a curved shape into wood, first get yourself a stencil. You can then trace the shape and cut it out.
trace your face in the mirror it with a washible marker
Square? a cube has 6 sides each are squares.
Manganese is typically drawn in a royal blue-top (EDTA) tube for EDTA anticoagulated whole blood. This tube is commonly used for trace metal testing.
The cast of Trace Around Your Heart - 2013 includes: Eric Crusan
You have to trace around the object that needs to go inside so it won't be too big nor to small. Cut out the shape then glue all of the pieces together.

If you mean trace as in the option in Illustrator you cannot. The easiest way and pretty much the only way is to use the pen tool. You add nodes to each curve and line around the object you're tracing then when completed it will close the shape. If you plan on using this shape in illustrator go to File/Export Paths to Illustrator. Then it will give you the option to save it as an AI or EPS. If you'd like to continue using photoshop for this shape, then double click on the gray screen or File/Open then open your vector file.
