For two 6-sided dice, the sum of seven will come up more often than any other sum. You need to look at each die as a unique event to solve this. So here are the outcomes that add to seven:
  • 1 + 6
  • 2 + 5
  • 3 + 4
  • 4 + 3
  • 5 + 2
  • 6 + 1
Note that there are six different outcomes which add to 7. Also note that 1+6 is a different event than 6+1, and similarly for the other events. The next most likely sums are 6 and 8: each of those has five different outcomes to sum up.

What is the most like sum to be rolled on a pair of dice?

7

What is the most likely combined score when throwing two dice?

For normal dice, and assuming "combined" refers to the sum, the answer is 7.

Using 2 dice is the most likely number to roll?

There are 21 possible combinations of 2 dice. The total with the most possible combinations is 7, which has three. (6+1,5+2,4+3) This is not right. By this logic 6 and 8 have equal chances of being rolled as I can roll a six through the numbers, 5-1, 4-2, 3-3. When counting the probability of a number to be rolled you have to assume the dice do not care the order in which they are rolled. That is to say, a roll of 5-2, and 2-5 are NOT the same. It is for this reason we find that 7 truly has many more ways a being rolled. 2-5, 5-2, 6-1, 1-6, 3-4, 4-3. While both 6 and 8 have less because one of their dice rolls cannot be counted twice the double roll. For six this is the 3-3 roll, and for eight its the 4-4 roll. That is why 7 is the most common roll on two dice.

What would be the probable numbers when two dice are rolled?

is the dice weighed, if not, the probable is even for each number, if so, the number opposite of the weight is more probably going to land ======= When two dice are rolled, 7 is the most probable total. If you count each die separately, there are 6 ways to roll a total of 7: 1 + 6; 2 + 5; 3 + 4; 4 + 3; 5 + 2; 6 + 1. All the other totals have fewer possible ways to come up. For example, there is only one way to roll a 2 or a 12, two ways to roll a 3 or 11.
