∙ 13y agoIf one of the denominators becomes equal to zero when checking a solution for a rational expression, it means that the expression is undefined at that point. This is because division by zero is not defined in mathematics. Therefore, the solution you found is not valid for that rational expression.
A rational equation is when its solution can be expressed as a fraction
x - 9 is an expression, neither an equation not an inequality. An expression cannot have a solution.
-15 + x100 is an expression, not an equation nor inequality. There is, therefore, no solution.-15 + x100 is an expression, not an equation nor inequality. There is, therefore, no solution.-15 + x100 is an expression, not an equation nor inequality. There is, therefore, no solution.-15 + x100 is an expression, not an equation nor inequality. There is, therefore, no solution.
2x + 4 is an expression, not an equation. There can be no solution set for an expression.
Not all rational equations have a single solution but can have more than one because of having polynomials. All rational equations do have solutions that cannot fulfill the answer.
It means that the answer can be written as a fraction using whole numbers (integers) i.e. 3/4 or 1/8 or 5 (which is identical to 5/1 and hence rational)
if i ask you.........how?
you've done something wrong
