They are methods for analysing statistics in which that data are, respectively, qualitative and quantitative.
Qualitative and quantitative data are both 2 important types of data. Qualitative data is data based on observation and description. An easy way to remember this, Qualitative ---> QUALity. Examples of qualitative data are when you record colors, smells, textures, etc... Quantitative data is based on numerical values. An easy way to remember this, Quantitative ---> QUANTity. An example of quantitative data are any type of numerical values.
qualitative
quantitative = numbers qualitative = not numbers (e.g. gender, state, ...)
qualitative is like asking people for their personal experiences and quantitative is data that is baised on numbers, like responses to a survey.basically, quantitative = numbersqualitative = non-numbers
qualitative
Quantitative data is quantity - how much. Qualitative data is quality - is it good? what is it like?

don't you mean quantitative data and qualitative data?
There are several different types of data. Some include qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative is data that is not numeric and quantitative data is numerical.
Numerical data is quantitative research

The length of a movie is quantitative data.
To report what color something is would be qualitative data not quantitative. Quantitative data, by definition, is a measurement of some quantity, and therefore it requires a number of some kind. Light intensity can be measured with a photometer, which would be quantitative data. Color isn't.
qualitative
The fact that the data is qualitative or quantitative does not in and of itself have anything to do with its reliability.
