You would get.

but now you need to 'divide' it by that same number , but not actually perform the division operation.

Like this.

432/100

So you multiplied by 100 and then you divided by 100 and you didn't change its value but only its form.

So the answer is that you divide by what every you multiplied by.

Note: 432/100 is not the fractions lowest form. Both top and bottom can be divided by 4 I believe.
