This question doesn't explain what exactly is the problem is.
A square meter is exactly what it says, a square that is 1m long by 1m wide or any combination of dimensions that when multiplied give a result of 1m^2 e.g. 2m long by 0.5m wide has an area of 1 meter squared.
A cubic meter is the same idea except that an extra dimension is added on so a cubic meter is a cube/box with dimensions 1m long by 1m wide by 1m tall or any combination as above.
When using equations where your given cubic meters or square meters and the answer is in the other form, treat the units as algebraic values with powers and include them in the equation so that m^3 divided by m = m^2 or vice versa.
When trying to change square meters into square centimeters go back to the basic units and work out the ratio. e.g. 1m=100cm, and 1m^2=1m by 1m so 1m^2=100cm by 100cm = 10,000cm^2
therefore 1 square meter = 10,000 square centimeters
Cubic meters is the volume of an object. (volume is the measurement in three dimensions) Square meters is the area of an object. (area is the measurement in one dimension or simply put, flat) You can calculate the area of an three dimensional object if you know the volume in cubic meters though. For example, if an object is three cubic meters than it is a cube that is made with twenty seven one cubic meter cubes. (3 x 3 x 3) So if you wanted to know the area of the cube then you want to know how much is the area on each of the six sides of the cube. (cubes have six sides, duh!) Since one side is 3 x 3 then that is 9 square meters and since the cube has 6 sides then just multiply 6 X 9 and you get 54 square meters for a 3 cubic meter cube. Don't believe me? Get some sugar cubes (each cube being a 1 cubic meter make believe) and do the math in real life. LOL I hope this is what you wanted.
Cubic meters measure volume (3-dimensional), while square meters measure area (2-dimensional). Therefore, you cannot directly convert cubic meters to square meters.
To convert square meters to cubic centimeters, you need to have the height or depth of the space in meters. Once you have the height in meters, you can multiply the square meters by 1,000,000 to convert to square centimeters and then multiply by the height in centimeters to get the volume in cubic centimeters.
To calculate the number of square meters in a cubic meter when a square meter is 100 mm thick, you first need to convert the thickness to meters. Since 1 meter is equal to 1000 mm, 100 mm is equal to 0.1 meters. To find the number of square meters in a cubic meter, you divide 1 cubic meter by the thickness in meters. Therefore, there are 10 square meters in a cubic meter when a square meter is 100 mm thick.
To convert square meters to cubic feet, you need to know the depth or height in meters. Once you have the depth, you can multiply the square meters by the height to get cubic meters, and then convert cubic meters to cubic feet by multiplying by 35.3.
To convert cubic meters to cubic centimeters, you would multiply the number of cubic meters by 1,000,000 (since there are 1,000,000 cubic centimeters in a cubic meter). So the formula is: Cubic centimeters = Cubic meters x 1,000,000
Impossible!!! Cubic meter is a volume measure and square meter is a measure of area!!!
27 cubic meters
it is impossible. square meter is a unit of area and cubic meter is of volume.
You simply can't convert that.
convert 40 cm3 to m3
This is not a valid conversion. Cubic units is a measure of volume while square units is a measure of area.
5 cm = 0.05 meter0.072 cubic meter / 0.05 meter = 1.44 square meter
Grams are a measure of weight, a square meter is a measure of area, and a cubic meter is a measure of volume. These are not comparable.
Oh honey, a cubic meter is a unit of volume, not area. It's like comparing apples to oranges. You can't convert cubic meters directly to square meters. It's like asking how many cats are in a dozen eggs. Just not gonna happen, sweetie.
Invalid conversion: square meters is a measure of area and cubic meters is a measure of volume.
1 (cubic meter) = 35.3146667 cubic feet.
1 cubic meter is equivalent to 1000 litres is the formula for the conversion.
