I'm assuming that you mean x^2 = 8y?

Anyway, by comparing the equation with the standard equation for a parabola (y^2 = 4ax) and swapping round x and y, you can see that a = 2. Thus, the directrix is y + 2 = 0 and the focus is (0, 2).
