Given ANY number, it is easy to find a polynomial of order 5 that will fit the above five and the selected sixth number.

For example, the rule for the nth terms is:

Un = (3n5 - 45n4 + 255n3 - 675n2 + 842n - 340)/5 will give U6 = 100

or

Un = (110n5 - 165n4 + 935n3 - 2475n2 + 3254n - 1080)/60 will give U6 = 50

and so on.

However, going for a polynomial of order 4, the nth term is 4 + 4n or 4(n+1).
