Area = (x + 3)*(x + 10) = 120x^2 + 13x - 90 = 0

(x + 18)*(x - 5) = 0

Therefore x = -18 or x = 5.

x = -18 gives sides of negative length and so is not a possible solution.

Therefore x = 5 => A = 8 and B = 15

Then Diagonal = sqrt(8^2 + 15^2) = sqrt(64 + 225) = sqrt(289) = 17 metres.

How big is 36 meters squared?

Ummmm.....the obvious answer would seem to be that the size is 36 meters squared. But I guess what you are asking is the for the dimensions on a side. A 36 square meter area could be a square 6 meters on a side, a rectangle 12 by 3 meters on a side, or a rectangle 1 by 36 meters.

The area of square garder is 200 meters squared how long is the diagonal?

If the area of the square is 200, then the side is sqrt(200).The length of the diagonal is sqrt(200 + 200) = sqrt(400) = 20 meters.
