To change a fraction into a mixed number, divide the numerator (top number) by the denominator (bottom number) to get the whole number. The remainder is the new numerator and gets written over the same denominator. Your welcome!

well first you should have an improper fraction which is a fraction with a bigger numerator ( top num.) than the denominator( bottom num) you then divide the top # by the bottom # them boom! if you get a remander you turn that into a fraction. the denominator should be the same as the one with your improper fraction.

Lets say, 18/7. how many times does 7 go into 18? 2 times, which is 14. how much is left? 4. So, it would be 2 4/7
