I assume this is the question in algebraic terms:

4[x+(x+1)] -4 = (x)(x+1)

4[2x+1] = x^2 + x + 4

8x+4 = x^2 + x + 4

8x = x^2 + x

7x = x^2

7 = x^2/x

7 = x

Therefore the integers are 7 and (7+1) = 8

Answer: 7 and 8
