Best Answer

f'(x)=-3

the derivative of e is zero because its a constant. Derivative of -3x is -3. Bring the exponent of x down in front of the -3 and subtract the original exponent by 1. Ex. -3(1...which is the first exponent of the x)x^0(n-1 or 1-1=0)
all this is -3(1)x^0

x^0 is 1 so the derivative of -3x is -3

How do you solve 4e3x-5 equals72 for x?

4 * e3x-5 = 72 Start by dividing both sides by 4, so we get e3x-5 = 18 From here, we can take the ln of both sides to get rid of e, so you get 3x-5 = ln(18), basic algebra gives you x = (ln(18)+5)/3

What is the second derivative of a function's indefinite integral?

well, the second derivative is the derivative of the first derivative. so, the 2nd derivative of a function's indefinite integral is the derivative of the derivative of the function's indefinite integral. the derivative of a function's indefinite integral is the function, so the 2nd derivative of a function's indefinite integral is the derivative of the function.
