it depends on how many numbers are on the number cube. if it only goes to 6, then the probability is 1/6. if it goes to 8 then the probability is 2/8. and so on and so on...

Cylinder radius 6 cm height 5 cm to the nearest whole sq cm?

I assume that you're talking about surface area. If so, imagine making a cylinder out of paper. You would have two circles, and between them a rectangle rolled up, right? So let's address the circles first. If the radius is 6 cm, then each circle's area (pi x radius squared) is: pi x (6 x 6) = 36pi = 113 sq cm Now we need to address the rectangle. Picture unrolling it. We would have a rectangle with a height of 5 cm and a length equal to the circumference of the base, right? So figure out the circumference. It (pi x D) is: pi x (2 x 6) = 12pi = 37.7 cm The area of the rectangle (base x height) is: 37.7 x 5 = 188.5 sq cm So, to get the total surface area, we add the rectangle (188.5 cm) and the TWO bases (113 sq cm x 2 = 226 sq cm), or 188.5 + 226 = 414.5 sq cm, rounded to the nearest, 415 sq cm

Albuquerque, NM?

Located in the center of New Mexico, Albuquerque is at the heart of American Southwest culture. Over 300 years old, this city has spent centuries soaking in the traditions and mystique that have come to define the region. Through an array of sights, sounds and tastes, Albuquerque, NM has the ability to captivate any visitor. Southwest America is first and foremost defined by its arid climate. Here, you can expect over 300 days of sunshine a year. In fact, the seasons are so mild that there's hardly a bad time of year to visit. In Albuquerque, NM, history and culture is apparent at every turn, but nowhere more so than the Historic Old Town. Immediately recognizable because of its Pueblo-Spanish architecture, the old town offers hundreds of shops and several distinguished museums such as the Albuquerque Museum of Art & History. When understanding the region, it's important to realize that New Mexico is essentially a hybrid of two cultures: Native American and Spanish. There's no better way to learn about this unique blend than to visit both the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The cuisine in this region, itself, is enough of a reason to visit. Just like everything in Albuquerque, the food is a blend of cultures. Generally spicy, New Mexicans love to infuse their unique chiles into most dishes. Just beware, the flavors can become addictive. Of course, it would be unforgivable not to address the vast abundance of breathtaking desert scenery surrounding Albuquerque. Along with it there is just about every activity under the sun. Things like hiking, fishing, biking, mountain climbing and even hot air balloon rides are available to visitors. When visiting a new city, it's great to have a destination where you can bring back some genuinely interesting gifts, not just the usual. Well, this is the perfect city. The entire area is brimming with handmade southwestern artifacts. There are decorative gifts such as jewelry or practical items like detailed bowls. Whatever the gift, it will certainly be original. Albuquerque, NM may be within the United States, but it is like taking a trip to another world. With constant flights going in and out of their International Sunport Airport, it's incredible easy to visit. And with all that it has to offer, it would be a shame never to enjoy the experience.

If a die is rolled one time what is the probability of getting a number greater than 5?

It is: 1/6 Since a die is cubic in shape and has 6 sides, and there is an equal probability of getting any one of them facing up (assuming the die is not loaded), and there is only one number on a die greater than 5, that being 6, the probability of rolling such a number is therefore 1 in 6, or .1666...
